zeldaThis game is a must-have for all GameBoy owners especially RPG fans of all ages.

The game is set in Kohlint Island where Link was washed ashore. His quest is to find the 8 musical instruments of the Sirens and awaken the omnipotent windfish which is the ruler of the island just so he can return to his beloved homeland, Hyrule.

Real-time slashing battles with his trusty sword. Make Link perform high leaps and ram through rocks and walls with his Pegasus boots. Lift, throw and pull with the power bracelet and even swim with flippers. What more could you ask for?
Verdict I liked the fact that I could re-name the hero. Also, because there are mini games. And loads of many other fun and cute (but useless and unnecessary to the game) things that can be done.

Certainly a gem of a cartridge and my favorite! I'm not an exceptionally good RPG gamer and am rather impatient at times when the clues are not so obvious and the order of events too tedious to perform.

In this game, the thing that got me was when I didn't for the life of me know what "Pois Voice" and "Stalfos" was. I mean, who's to know when they never in the entire game tell you who is who. No names of the bosses mentioned either and you'd only know their names if you say read a walk-through.

Also, at level 3 - the key cavern. This one had me stumped. I put in the key, the rocks shook and I couldn't get in. Why? Because the entrance was somewhere else. Who'd have guessed that a key was to have been put into a key hole in one place and the entrance in another, right?

Still, I must admit the game gave me like a month of fun. Couldn't put it down (even to sleep) and when I have the time, I'll certainly play it again.
