tamagotchiEveryone knows about Tamagotchies. You know the little keyring pet… living in cyberspace? Ring a bell? Well now they are no longer living in cyberspace… but now they are living in your very own gameboy.

You are able to have three Tama's at one time, you can choose how fast the time goes by. There is fast medium and slow (in that order).

You can name your Tama. There are three different backgrounds too.

There are also three different types of food:

  • Bread
  • Meat
  • Carrot

There are also two different types of snacks:

  • Ice-cream
  • Cake

There are three types of games:

  • Smile game - like the keyring Tama you have to guess which way he is going turn.
  • Study game - this is a very easy maths sum and you have to solve it.
  • Sports game - you don't really do anything, you just watch, tama has to block the balls falling to the ground.

There are also two different types of medicine:

  • Injection
  • Pills

The status meter checks:

  • The type of Tama you have
  • The age
  • The weight
  • Life (hungry)
  • Fun (happiness)
  • IQ
  • Body
  • Deed (discipline)
Verdict As I am a virtual pet addict I am bound to love this game. But I don't. I just like it though I think it is a very very good game, but is not as good as I had hoped.

It is basically the same as the keyring Tama. But some parts I though was incredibly done. Like if the Tama was half-unhappy then he/she would walk around the screen and if he/she were very unhappy then he/she would sit in the middle of the screen with a sad face.

But if the Tama was happy then he/she would jump around the room with a happy face. And if the tama was ill then a skull would appear beside the tama and he/she would LOOK very ill.

The graphics are much better (obviously) than the keyring one. This would keep you entertained for a while, however, the lastability (out of 10) that I would rate is about 4.
