Summary
Gameplay

Game & Watch Gallery was a game that I thought Nintendo couldn't possibly make any better. How wrong I was. Game & Watch Gallery 2 has five (or six? hehehe) games to choose from, in either Classic (original) or Modern (updated) mode.

Bringing back the classics Parachute, Helmet, Chef, Vermin and Donkey Kong, Gallery 2 still keeps the fun that made them classics in the 80's. Parachute has you catching falling parachutists, in Helmet you must avoid flying tools (!), Chef has you cooking and juggling food, Vermin's aim is to stop all the moles appearing, while Donkey Kong has Mario rescuing his girlfriend Pauline (or Princess Toadstool).

Verdict Not only is Game & Watch Gallery fun to play, but it also has plenty of hidden secrets to unlock. As you progress by earning a certain amount of
points in each game, you will discover secrets to help you play better, a hidden music studio and a museum of many previous Game & Watch games. You may even discover something extra if you work hard enough...

There are two different modes of play for each game, Classic and Modern.
Classic has you playing the game as if it was the original Game & Watch, with no music and just the often irritating blips for sound. The gameplay is more simplistic, with more difficult to achieve bonuses and lives. Modern mode has updated music, sound and graphics, and also boast an often
easier to play game and more fun than the originals.

Game & Watch Gallery 2 also keeps a record of the highest score made on each game, and this can really produce some heavy competition between you and your friends to see who can get the highest score in the game. Even though there is no actual two player mode, you can compete with your friends for the traditional highest score.

I absolutely love Game & Watch games, because they're easy to get into and hard to put down. And with five of them too keep you busy, you'll be playing this for a long time.
