The New Dungeon

The location of the color dungeon is in the graveyard where there are 5 tombstones in the screen. You need to push them in a certain sequence for the entrance to be revealed. The sequence can be found in the library. There's a book sitting on top of the shelf, you need to ram the shelf with the shoes so that the book falls down and you can steal a peek into it.

The new dungeon is only accessible if you're using a Color GameBoy since most of the clues in this dungeon depend on color.
If you're using a regular GameBoy, the dungeon's skeleton guards will not allow you to enter.

In the new dungeon, there are two new power items that you can find. They are the Red Tunic and the Blue Tunic. The Red Tunic increases your attacking power and the Blue Tunic decreases the damage you take. Of course, you'll have to defeat the dungeon boss first.

Red Tunic

Here are some hints on how to deal with the various obstacles in the new dungeon as you battle your way towards some the new clothes. Remember to bring along a full supply of Magic Powder.

Simply talk to them and tell them the color of their clothes. Hit only domes that were glowing red when you first entered the room to change all dome to blue and make the chest appear. Land on green tile turns it yellow. Land on a yellow one turns it red. Land on a red one turns it into a pit. After hopping across the tiles, lift the jar to find a bomb.
After collecting the bomb, return to room B and blow-up the cracked portion of the south wall. You'll find a room behind with a load of Rupees. Slash the shelled monsters with your sword to make them clam up. Once they've rolled into a ball, use your Power Bracelet to carry them into the hole that matches their color. The two monsters huddled by the chest containing the small key will eventually hop onto the tiles and turn them into pits. Dash to their stomping grounds, then slash them.

Powder the giant Buzz to drain its voltage, then slash it. Once you've defeated it, exit west, then push the top and bottom blocks to the left and the middle one up or down to reach the Nighmare's Key.

Use your sword to rapidly hit the Nightmare monster so that it won't have a chance to re-energize itself back to its blue color. Keep hitting it until it turns red. Then, off you go to choose your new clothes.
